Description
Short, vertical to slightly tapering, cylindrical rim with distinct bulge in middle; demarcard below b y sharp groove; rounded lip thickens outward. Upper shoulder is rounded, descends steeply. Fine, sharp ridging on upper shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Coarse, reddish orange fabric with frequent sandy inclusions, including small lime chunks. Northern Palestinian: Caesarea.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 20% of rim and small part of upper shoulder. Very slight, sparse abrasion and minor chipping; mostly clean breaks; extensive white (calcareous) film.
