- Description
- Short, vertical to slightly tapering, cylindrical rim with distinct bulge in middle; demarcard below b y sharp groove; rounded lip thickens outward. Upper shoulder is rounded, descends steeply. Fine, sharp ridging on upper shoulder.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Coarse, reddish orange fabric with frequent sandy inclusions, including small lime chunks. Northern Palestinian: Caesarea.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves ca. 20% of rim and small part of upper shoulder. Very slight, sparse abrasion and minor chipping; mostly clean breaks; extensive white (calcareous) film.
