Orange fabric with a tinge of pink, consistently fired. Fine, hard; smooth to slightly granular break. Uncommon, small, rounded, lime inclusions; rare, poorly sorted, small, red and gray bits. Orange slip with tinge of red, dull, thicker and more even on interior and over lip, but thinner and less even on exterior. Dense brush marks on interior but not smoothing bands. Orange LRC fabric.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (0996+1024) and one nonjoining sherd (1603) preserve 30% of rim and part of middle to upper body. Slight, sparse abrasion and rare chipping; slightly worn breaks; thick, rough coating of encrustation covering 0996 and in large patches on 1024 and 1603. One small sherd adhering to body.
