Description
Large bowl with straight upper wall. Rim has flat upper, slightly rounded to angular outer, and rounded to concave bottom faces. Steep groove marking rim from wall on interior and low, blunt offset underneath.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Consistently fired orange-reddish fabric has very few light small rounded inclusions, “lime”. Thin matte slip with brushmarks sligtly darker than fabric on all extant surfaces.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves ca. 5-8% of rim and small part of upper wall. Slight, sparse abrasion and sharp breaks; extensive specks of encrustation.
