Cylindrical neck flares slightly upward. Thick, everted rim has sloping outer face that is sharply undercut; triangular in section.
Fabric, firing, surface
Reddish orange (2.5YR 6/6) fabric fired to yellow at surface (1-2mm); hard, somewhat coarse, mostly smooth break; uncommon, small, subrounded, white, small, rocky dark gray, and rarer brownish red, rounded bits; few faint sparkles. Unknown origin.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves 14% of rim and small part of upper neck. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and moderate chipping and gouging; worn breaks.
