One sherd preserves entire amphora toe and lowermost adjacent wall. Slight sparse abrasion; extensive erosion to surface and incipient flaking; severely worn breaks; very rare specks of encrustation.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly coarse, hard fabric is light brown with frequent small rounded and subangular light inclusions; other tiny bits. All surfaces are light brown consistent with fabric; patch light pale brown around top edge of toe. Aegean.
