Description
Large plate. Triangular ring foot, slight splayed, slightly offset on interior; one horizontal groove on exterior face. Wide, straight lower wall with concave floor; slight chamfer over foot on floor.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slight granular deep red consistently fired fabric with few inclusions, rare tiny lime specks. Thick matte slip, flaking in places, on interior; slightly thinner on exterior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of foot and small part of lower wall. Slight to moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion and chipping around edges; moderate patches of encrustation on all surfaces.
