Description
Truncoconical neck, relatively thin-walled. Thin strap handle loops outward horizontally.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale red fired pale brown at surface; fine, very hard, with smooth to vaguely conchoidal break; rare to uncommon, small to medium, tabular and rarely angular white inclusions and rare, medium, irregular, red chunks. Smoothed surface.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (1673+1652) preserve one complete handle and small part of contiguous neck. Slight chipping around edges; clean breaks; faint clouds of incipient encrustation(?).
