Red brick-like fabric fired to weak reddish gray at surface (2 mm); coarse, hard, with slightly hackly break and slightly bumpy surface; frequent, tiny to medium, varied bits (calcareous, few glistening quartz); rarely dark. NePcf. Longitudinal brush marks from smoothing across outside face.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves lower part of handle up to attachment at shoulder. Slight, sparse abrasion and large chipping; slightly worn breaks; thin, extensive film of encrustation. GRay to black discoloration from secondary burning.
