Description
Looping heavy strap handle, oval to oblate in section, with prominent grooves and squared ridge on outside face.
Fabric, firing, surface
Very pale brownish yellow, fired very slightly more pale at very surface; slightly soft, medium coarse, with granular break; uncommon, small to medium, angular yellowish chunks, some spalling; frequent small to medium, rounded voids. Exterior well smoothed with brushstrokes visible.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves segment from middle of one handle. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor scoring; worn breaks; little or no encrustation.
