Description
Large plate. Knobby rim with slightly raised, somewhat flat upper face, convex outer face, and slightly raised, convex lower face. Straight upper wall.
Fabric description
Slightly coarse reddish fabric; relatively few tiny, gray and light inclusions. Thick slip on interior and over rim, not very well smoothed; thinner unsmoothed slip on exterior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 5-10% of rim and part of upper wall. Slight, extensive abrasion and chipping especially around edges; somewhat thick but scattered patches of encrustation.
