Description
Large plate. Knobby rim with slightly raised, somewhat flat upper face, convex outer face, and slightly raised, convex lower face. Straight upper wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly coarse reddish fabric; relatively few tiny, gray and light inclusions. Thick slip on interior and over rim, not very well smoothed; thinner unsmoothed slip on exterior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 10% of rim and part of upper wall. Slight, extensive abrasion and chipping especially around edges; somewhat thick but scattered patches of encrustation.
