Plain base has flaring rim and concave bottom with central button. Conical flaring lower wall. Perhaps related to non-MRA3 fabric Water Jars; otherwise a more generic small vessel for storing or serving water or other liquid. Regional product.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
7.5YR 6/6 (light red). Slightly granular, hard fabric consistently fired orangish red has with very few inclusions but rare, small “lime“. Surface essentially plain and same color as fabric, though with fine brush marks.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves entire base and lower wall. Slight, sparse chipping around edges; worn breaks. Slight, extensive film of encrustation.
