Description
Large plate. Knobby, heavy rim has flat upper face with sharp offset forming a rounded lip, convex outer face, and short, flat lower face with sharply tooled offset creating essentially a right angle. Straight, thin upper wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Brownish red, slightly granular fabric with uncommon to rare, small, rounded, lime inclusions; distinct gray core. Thick, smoothed slip on interior; rim and extant outer wall also have thick slip though with turning bands.

Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of rim and small part of upper wall. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and slight chipping around edges; moderate but scattered patches of encrustation.
