Description
Corinthian pilaster capital. Preserved back roughly flat but unfinished; level top displays thin parallel chiselmarks (max.L. 1.9-2.2 cm); other sides not preserved.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale grayish white matric with grayish blue veining, transparent; moderately coarse. Proconnesian.
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves small part of upper side of capital; projecting ornament broken off. Extensive, slight abrasion, scoring, and pitting; continuous very thin film of encrustation.
