Lead shimming from columnar joint. Smooth on underwide and rough on top. Spread out from channel (though no such impression survives) so that the edges are thickened and slightly rounded. Trapezoidal hole along one edge from spreading in around empolion (p.W. 0.032, p.L. 0.057 m).
Preservation comment
One large fragment of irregular shape, mostly flat but curled up around one edge after recovery (during handling?). Slight film of encrustation and incipient lead degradation.
