Also known as Knossos 15, Peacock & Williams 57, and Zeest 90.
Description
An Early to Middle Roman amphora with a globular to sagging body with a distinct shoulder, a solid spike toe, a tall cylindrical to slightly tapering neck, a distinctive high, gently curved, cupped rim with rounded lip, and vertical loop handles with elliptical section. Produced in Western Asia Minor probably at several sites, and perhaps eastern Aegean.
