Description
Late Hellenistic to Early Roman (Augustan+) amphora with ovoid body tapering with wide, low, hollow foot, a wide spreading shoulder, a short cylindrical neck, an outwardly thickened rim sometimes hooked inside, and one widely looped strap handle. Made in western Asia Minor and widely distributed.
