- Description
- Dish. Straight flaring upper wall. Blocky vertical rim, widely overhanging flange below, with slight groove on underside; top is widened and flattened.
- Fabric, firing, surface
- Red fabric; fine, hard; smooth break. Uncommon, poorly sorted, small, subrounded and subangular, lime inclusions. Surface has thin, even, semimatte red slip with tinge of orange, slightly darker than fabric. Classic LRC fabric.
- Preservation comment
- One fragment preserves 5% of rim and upper body. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and chipping around edges; worn breaks; extensive film of encrustation.
