Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric 3 mint, gritty: fired pale reddish brown on interior and core to yellow with greenish tinge at outside surface (1-2mm); somewhat hard, coarse; granular break. Frequent mixed inclusions, well sorted: tiny white (calcareous) and black specks; sma;;l dark gray, red, and yellow, subrounded to subangular, some tabular, inclusions; rare, medium, chalky white chunls; rare, large, dark gray stoney fragments; flakey surface.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (1118+1188) preserve 45% of rim to top of neck. Varied cracking and flaking; worn breaks; thin patches of encrustation. Distortion of material from secondary burning.
