Description
Dish. Straight flaring upper wall. Rim projects out horizontally but slightly drooping; outer face is round, upper face marked by two grooves.
Fabric, firing, surface
Fabric: yellowish red buff. Slip: orangish red to dark brownish red. Very fine, somewhat hard; smooth to slightly hackly break. Very rare, small to medium, subrounded, lime chunks; rare small, subangular black particles; rare (micaceous dusting?) sparkles at surface. Thin, uneven, semiglossy slip, flaking in small chips. Fine turning lines on interior and around rim. Attic.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves 8% of rim and small part of upper body. Moderate, extensive abrasion and chipping and rare scratching to gouging; very worn breaks. Cloud of secondary scorching across body.
