Description
Circular, slightly concave discus has figural relief and two flat framing rings. Relief depicts female head with dense, bushy coiffure and distinct braided knot over forehead, all schematic. Goddess with double ax type. Slightly sloping, plain(?) shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 2.5YR 6/8, light red. Slip: 10R 5/8, red. Materials typical for ware. Thin, dull slip preserved in grooves.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves roughly one-third of discus and small part of rim. Slight, extensive encrustation.
