Description
Bronze needle. Somewhat thin wire shaft with circular section that ends in sharp point; missing upper portion would have had an eye. The size of this piece suggests it was used for sewing heavy material and not common woven fabric.
Preservation comment
Intact shaft but missing back end. Slight bronze disease.
