Description
Eight gold buttons or gold-foil button sheaths. Thin, discoid sheets with con-centric circles molded in relief on top and with hollow interiors. Since these were so delicate, perhaps they were once wrapped around a discoid form to hold shape. Around sides are eight holes in pairs through which thread or very thin wire was passed for attaching them to a hard core or sewing them onto fabric.
Preservation description
