Description
Corinthian molded relief ware, concentric-semicircle (“shield”) bowl. Slipped all over. Vertical, rounded rim. In exterior rim zone, a single row of bosses between double lines above and single line below.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5Y 7/4, pink. Slip: 5YR 3/2, dark reddish brown. Somewhat hard, very fine fabric with uncommon, small, white and black inclusions. Thin, even, semilustrous slip preserved in large patches.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves small part of rim and upper body. Heavy abrasion and slight gouging; thin, extensive encrustation.
