Description
Convex upper body curves inward just below horizontal rim, slightly overhanging, with rounded lip. Round, horizontal handle attaches to underside of rim.
Fabric, firing, surface
7.5YR 6/6, reddish yellow. Hard, smooth, fine fabric with very rare golden mica and very rare, very small, rounded, white inclusions. Corinthian.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves <25% of rim and ca. 50% of one handle. Extensive chipping and abrasion where surface is visible; heavy marine encrustation on interior and plaster residue on rim and exterior, coating handle.
