Description
Irregular false ring foot with variable bevel on outer face; slightly convex underside. Globular body with faint corrugation on lower wall and more distinct from midpoint to neck. Dense, vertical to diagonal gouging on upper body. Cylindrical to flaring neck, offset, to everted, rounded lip. Trefoil mouth. Loop(?) handle at-taches at upper neck and upper body.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
5YR 5/6, yellowish red. Somewhat soft, medium fine fabric with common golden mica and frequent, small, subangular to subrounded, white inclusions. Thin, uneven wash.
Preservation comment
Almost intact but missing handle. Slight chipping on foot and rim; moderate, patchy encrustation.
