Description
Gray-ware molded relief ware, long-petal(?) bowl. Glazed all over. In exterior rim zone, ivy-leaf guilloche between two lines. On wall below is an arched relief line that may represent the tip of a petal.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 10YR 7/2, light gray. Slip: Gley 1 3/N, very dark gray. Somewhat soft, very fine fabric, with rare, very small, black inclusions. Somewhat thin, even, semilustrous slip, abraded in places.
Preservation comment
One small fragment from upper body. Slight abrasion; slight, extensive encrustation.
