Description
Unusual differential wear pattern, on same scale as lion-reverse, preserves pattern with vertical and diagonal bars, S above center, and O or loop below. Is this a shallow overstriking off-center to lower right? e.g. enwreathed monogram of Theodahad (534-536) on bronze issues from Ravenna. Cf. Kraus1928, pp. 143-144, Theodohad 12, 16, 17, pl.
