JLR: This monograph without the bent bar on the alpha has also been attributed to Justin I (or Justin II) rather than Anastasius (AdelsonKustas1964, pp. 169-170, 191-192, nos. 242-297).
Wear: P/G. Moderately chipped edge; extensive, moderate pitting and rare scratching. Slight film of incipient light blue bronze disease especially on reverse.
