Description
Amphora. Low sloping or rounded(?) shoulder. Red dipinto across joint between upper shoulder and lower neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pink core, more yellow at surface (3 mm); consistently fired. Medium fine, hard; mostly smooth break. Uncommon, well sorted, tiny black and white bits; somewhat frequent gold mica; very rare, small, angular white; very rare, small to medium red. Kenchreai RC22 fabric?
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of joint between upper shoulder and lower neck. Slight, sparse abrasion wtth chipping around edges; worn breaks; black speckled discoloration scross surfaces.
