- Description
- Amphora. Low sloping or rounded(?) shoulder. Red dipinto across joint between upper shoulder and lower neck.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Pink core, more yellow at surface (3 mm); consistently fired. Medium fine, hard; mostly smooth break. Uncommon, well sorted, tiny black and white bits; somewhat frequent gold mica; very rare, small, angular white; very rare, small to medium red. Kenchreai RC22 fabric?
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves small part of joint between upper shoulder and lower neck. Slight, sparse abrasion wtth chipping around edges; worn breaks; black speckled discoloration scross surfaces.
