- Description
- Circular to oval(?) outline in backl. Concave discus; deep groove inside sharply raised rim and narrow, sloping shoulder; concave discus. Thin handle has broad attachment to back wall to support handle in form of large Greek cross.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- 2.5YR 7/4, light reddish brown. Somewhat fine, brick-hard fabric with rare to uncommon, small, subangular to subrounded, white inclusions. Late Roman Corinthian red fabric.
- Preservation comment
- One large fragment preserves back wall and lower to middle handle. Slight, sparse abrasion; slight, extensive encrustation around handle.
