This type, which dates to between the first and the fourth century C.E., was produced certainly in Rough Cilicia and possibly also on Cyprus. It is also identified as Agora G 199, Nea Paphos 3, Ostia 631, the “pinched-handle“ amphora, and Zemer 41.
