- Description
- Thickened rim, rounded on top, with spiral concave band under rim; sharply tooled under rim to distinguish it from neck. Tall concave neck.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Very pale red fabric with frequent tiny to very small dark rounded and angular bits. Not Tunisian fabric so distinct from more common vessels of this form. Unslipped.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves entire rim, upper neck, start of one handle, stub of other. Slight, sparse abrasion but clean breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
