Description
Thickened rim, rounded on top, with spiral concave band under rim; sharply tooled under rim to distinguish it from neck. Tall concave neck.
Fabric description
Very pale red fabric with frequent tiny to very small dark rounded and angular bits. Not African fabric so distinct from more common vessels of this form. Unslipped.
Preservation comment
Single sherd preserving complete rim, upper neck, start of one handle, stub of other. Slight, sparse abrasion but clean breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
