Description
Large plate. High ring foot, slightly splayed and narrowing downward, with rounded resting surface; two horizontal grooves on outer face. Wide floor with straight walls; slight chamfer over foot on floor.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly granular fabric fired reddish with occasional relatively large angular dark inclusions. Otherwise typical for late ARS.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 18% of base and small part of lower wall. Slight, extensive wear and flakes chipping around breaks; extensive film of encrustation.
