Description
Large plate. High ring foot, slightly splayed and narrowing downward, with rounded resting surface; two horizontal grooves on outer face. Wide floor with straight walls; slight chamfer over foot on floor.
Fabric description
Slightly granular fabric fired reddish with occasional relatively large angular dark inclusions. Otherwise typical for late ARS.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves less than one quarter of base and small part of lower wall. Slight, extensive wear and flakes chipping around breaks; extensive film of encrustation.
