- Description
-
This Middle to Late Roman amphora has narrow conical body with a low shoulder tapering, a hollow or tubular toe with grooving, a tall conical to slightly bulging neck with a grooved rim and a rounded lip, and straight, high handles that are sharply arching. Produced in the Aegean region, perhaps eastern Aegean/western Asia Minor.
